Ella E. Schloredt Scholarship

ELIGIBILITY:

Applicant may be a graduating high school senior or a continuing student attending the University of Wyoming. (Continuing means: transfer from a Wyoming Junior College or continuing students who have never received the scholarship before.)

Number of scholarships will vary and the amount will vary. Recipients are eligible to renew this scholarship for remaining 3 years at UW based on academic progress.

SELECTION:

Scholarships to be awarded to worthy and deserving rural youth who have shown an interest in 4-H work, FFA, forestry work, or other similar lines of endeavor.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Each county may submit one or more applicants. For graduating senior and first-time applicants please use the Wyoming 4-H Scholarship Application Form available from the state 4-H office, or website (www.wyoming4h.org) and submit to the Wyoming State 4-H office.

Once all requirements have been met for the scholarship, your scholarship money will automatically be credited to your account, this amount will be subtracted in the following order: tuition, fees, and housing – you will pay any remainder.

SELECTION:

40% on 4-H accomplishments
30% on scholastic achievement
15% on character and leadership
15% on financial need
