As part of supporting our county fair, each 4-H family is asked to help by volunteering for a shift in the Fair Food Booth. Your time and effort help make this fundraiser a success and support our local 4-H program.

Livestock Quality Assurance Deadline

🐄 Livestock Quality Assurance Deadline – June 30th 🐖

Livestock Quality Assurance is required for youth planning to sell in the livestock sale during fair.

2026 is a FLEX year, which means youth may attend any livestock educational opportunity to complete their requirement. After attending, fill out the required form, include what you learned, and have it signed before turning it in to the Extension Office.

📅 Deadline: June 30th

Be sure all paperwork is completed and submitted on time to remain eligible for the livestock sale at fair!

Horse Practice

Horse practices will be held June 16, 23, 30 and July 7, 14, and possibly July 16 at the Washakie County Fairgrounds.

⏰ Please be ready to ride at 6:00 PM with your horse prepared and ready to go.

Ten Sleep practices will begin at the end of May — more details coming soon!

We’re looking forward to another great horse project season! 🐎
