4-H is for those ages 8-18 with a Cloverbud Program for ages 5-7. ( Determined by age on January 1st of each year)
The 4-H Year runs from October 1 – September 30 each year. The 4-H Year is NOT complete at the completion of county fair. All new members can enroll and returning members can re-enroll on or after October 1 each year.
There is no enrollment “deadline” in Laramie County, however, all members must be enrolled to participate in county fair. Although other projects may require sooner enrollment.

STEP 1:
Read the New Member handbook
STEP 2:
Look through the Project List
to ideNTIFY interests
STEP 3:
Review the Club List to identify clubs that work within the chosen project area (s) and who meet at the locations that work best for your family
Suggestion: Reach out to the club leaders to talk with them about meeting times, locations, and there experience with the projects the club supports.
STEP 4:
Enroll in ZSuite
Instructions:
- All first time families must create a HOUSEHOLD profile with a PIN # that is unique to the family.
- Once created, you can add the youth participant to the family profile. The family information will auto-populate in the youth profile. (Please be sure that youth DO NOT select the volunteer box- this is for adult volunteers only)
- Fill in the information, clicking continue at the bottom of the page to save and continue.
- At the CLUB SELECTION page, click on the drop down menu to find the club that you chose in step 3. (Please DO NOT select the Project Volunteer Club for youth)
- Select the youth’s desired project areas- youth can have as many as they like but must have AT LEAST ONE project selected. (Cloverbuds can ONLY ENROLL in the CLOVERBUDS PROJECT- Click Here for Cloverbud Tab)
- Once all Projects are selected, select ” Add to Cart” to continue to the payment page.
- The “Cart Checkout” page will display. The invoice for enrollment fees will display for the individual member. Please verify that the amount due is $10.00. Note that if a shooting sport project was selected, there is an additional $10.00 fee per shooting discipline in addition to the standard $10.00 enrollment fee.
- The shooting sport fees will only be added to the checkout page if it is included with the initial yearly enrollment fee. If shooting sports is selected after the $10.00 enrollment fee is paid, the shooting sports fees must be paid in cash or check in the County Extension Office located at 1400 E. College Drive, Pathfinder Building, 406D, Cheyenne, WY, 82007.
- Fee Explanation – 4-H Members must pay the annual enrollment fee of $10.00. This fee can be paid online or in the Extension Office. Members who will be participating in shooting sports must pay a fee for each discipline that they select. This fee is only due once per project, per discipline (Archery, Rifle, Muzzleloader, Shotgun, Pistol). For example; if a youth will be participating in both “Pistol: Air Pistol” and “Pistol: .22 Pistol”, they pay the $10.00 fee once for the Pistol discipline. Shooting sports fees must be paid prior to attending shooting sports orientations or participating in the first shooting practice of the year.
- Any fees paid to Laramie County 4-H for shooting sports or enrollment are non-refundable.
- If you are enrolling more than one youth, you do have the option to select “Add Enrollment” to enroll all of your youth. When enrollments are completed, you may opt to follow the online payment directions or select “Submit & Pay Later/In-Person”.
- After hitting submit, your enrollment will become pending until payment or approval is completed. Once your payment and enrollment are completed and approved by the Extension Office, the enrollment will be active.
- If you change your contact information or wish to change clubs, projects, etc., please return to ZSuite at anytime throughout the year
