JOIN a Committee, Make a Difference!
Our Committee Opportunities:
Laramie County 4-H has volunteer committees that are instrumental in supporting our 4-H program. These committees function to support various project areas and facilitate educational and competitive opportunities for youth. These committees are looking for new parents to volunteer to help out in these areas. Below are some activities that each committee participates in. If you are interested please contact the Extension Office for more information or feel free to attend a meeting.

The horse committee will plan educational activities for horse members, solicit donations and purchase awards for horse show, help facilitate horse show, complete horse safety testing for all horse members. Meets the 3rd Monday of the month at the LCCC Pathfinder Building, Room 419 at 5:30 p.m. *or as announced.
The Beef Committee stands as the Laramie County 4-H Beef Superintendent(s). They will meet on the second Tuesday of each month at 5pm in LCCC Pathfinder Building, Room 415. Please contact Kristi Nagy, through email at knagy@uwyo.edu or call at (307) 633-4384 for more information.
The Shooting Sports Committee holds practices for all shooting disciplines, plans fundraisers to support the committee and those project areas, plans and facilitates County Shoot. They meet as announced at the LCCC Pathfinder Building, Room 419 at 6:30 p.m.
The Benefit Bash Committee plans and facilitates the annual 4-H Benefit Bash, by working together to find advertising methods, food choices, volunteers, and entertainment. They meet once a month at the LCCC Pathfinder Building, room 419 (location may vary) at 6:00 p.m. from October to April. Please call Laramie County 4-H Extension at (307) 633-4383 for meeting dates.
