THE MISSION OF GOSHEN COUNTY 4-H CAMP PROGRAMS…
Provide an inclusive and safe environment that fosters self-confidence and individuality within campers while encouraging fun, leadership, fairness and acceptance from reliable, non-judgmental counselors who encourage everyone to shine while leading by example.
How we do this…
- Treat people, ideas and property with respect and equality
- Act as role models for one and other
- Provide a variety of opportunities to develop self-confidence, leadership, fairness, acceptance, life-long skills and friendships to both campers and counselors
- Encourage individual inclusion from campers, staff, partners and counselors
- Involve and include everyone
- Create, lead and evaluate educational and fun activities
- Encourage clear communication from everyone
- Allow everyone to shine
