Horse Practices

Horse Practices Begin in November!
We’re kicking off with an orientation meeting on November 8th, where training day start times will be announced.
From December through May, the third Saturday of each month is reserved for 4-H and FFA members to ride free of charge in the indoor arena. Crook County Fair- Sundance, WY.
Please note, you and your horse must be safety certified to ride on this day and have active 4-H enrollment to ride for free.

Archery Safety Meeting -October 23rd– 5pm

Shooting Sports Building-Sundance –1110 Fairgrounds Loop Road

Members must be enrolled, paid, picked shooting sports as a project & have active status to participate.

Youth and 1 parent/guardian must attend safety meeting to participate in Archery Practices.

Archery will be every Thursday @ 5pm through January 8th

Shooting Sports has an additional $10 per youth or participate in 1 community service project in the spring.

4-H Dog Orientation Meeting

🐾 Hey Dog Project Pack! 🐾

The new 4-H year is just around the corner, and we’re kicking things off with our Dog Project Orientation Meeting on October 19th!

Whether you’re a curious newcomer or a seasoned pup in the program, you and a parent/guardian must attend this meeting to get started.

Important Note: Leave your furry friend at home this time!
We know they’re excited too, but this meeting is just for the humans. 🐶💬

We can’t wait to see you there and start another tail-wagging year together!

4-H Family Night

Mark your calendars — 4-H Family Night is coming this fall! Are you brand new to 4-H and wondering what all the buzz is about? A seasoned 4-H’er who can recite the pledge in your sleep? Or maybe you’re just 4-H-curious and thinking, “Is this my kind of thing?” No matter where you stand, we’ve got a seat (and a slice!) waiting for you. Come enjoy some pizza, meet great people, and explore everything 4-H has to offer — from projects and programs to lifelong friendships.
